Youth

I was walking down the street the other day.
I saw three kids playing.
They were happy.
I wondered what this meant.
They didn’t seem to be worried about war, famine, and hatred.
It was youth.
When your young nothing really matters.

The Nature of Things

The world is a totality of facts. This is that nature of things.
All the facts are relative to each other, they are not held to any standard outside the world. So the world is fallible. In the same way as saying "it's true because it says it's true," but here we exist in the middle of it all and our minds try to make sense of it. It even appears to most that the world does make sense, after all why shouldn't it? You ARE apart of it. But here's a reality check, a philisophical experiment if you will... ask the question "Why?" to anybody about ANY topic, and eventually (rather sooner than you might think) you'll get an "I don't know." That's how well founded this world is, that's exactly how much sense it will ever make. Love it, or hate it... either way you must accept it.

A Challenge

A Challenge

The greatest challenge of our time is the conquest of apathy. The people have been asleep for far too long. In fact it seems the most important failing caused by their slumber is the loss of their conscience. The people were lulled to sleep by a few greedy men. These men wanted to control them with goods and money. Capital wrapped around the people’s necks and instead of killing them it merely lulled them to sleep. The sleep was long enough however for the awful capitalist bourgeois dictatorship to fleece us into actually believing we could be happy if we all bought into their system. A system based on the blood of the people to fill the pockets of the few with gold. I personally can’t believe what I see everyday. Brilliant people, decent people, all spend too much of their lives slaving over jobs they hate. These people wake up one day and they realize they’re fifty and they have wasted their entire life. I wont fucking do that. No, it is too much to see everyone just wasting away. The challenge of Verisimilitude Weekly Online, and its companion newsletter on the ground is to rattle your bones. We want to shake up the people. Stir up that conscience that has lied dormant too long. We’re asking you to break out. We welcome everyone, and all ideologies. We also welcome refutations. So join us start talking start moving lets get the people warmed up for the hard struggle to come.
